JB McCall is an experienced Substance Abuse Counselor with over 17 years in the field. He received his initial training while serving in the United States Navy as a Substance Abuse Counselor and once retired, he served as an Addictions Therapist with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He received his Associate degree in General Studies from Central Texas College and graduated from the Navy’s Drug and Alcohol Counseling School, San Diego, CA.
Mr. McCall has completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology, Masters of Arts in Human Services Counseling and Master of Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Mr. McCall is preparing to begin Residency requirements for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Mr. McCall has experience in outpatient, intensive outpatient treatment, residential, co-occurring disorders treatment, in substance abuse treatment settings using evidence-based treatment practices. He is further affiliated with Open Path Psychotherapy Collective. Mr. McCall has been an addiction specialist with Right Path Treatment Centers since July 2017.
