She also has a BA in Music and has been teaching music lessons in voice, piano, and guitar for over ten years. Alice is also a Level 3 trained practitioner of Bonny Guided Imagery and Music method.
Alice believes strongly in the power of the human spirit and that the wisdom resides within each one of us on how best to facilitate our own healing, growth, and emancipation. Her experience as a private music instructor and performing musician, as well as her work with the profoundly mentally ill, has solidified her belief in the healing power of the expressive arts and she works with clients through both verbal and non-verbal ways as a means of personal transformation and healing. She is honored to be part of her clients’ brave and transcendent journeys as she supports them in that process through safe and effective best practices.
Alice has been a student of yoga for the last ten years and often adds elements of breath work, guided imagery, grounding, mandalas/art, music, mindfulness, and body awareness in her work with clients. She utilizes Existential, Feminist, Person-Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques based on the needs of each client.
